How we handle your data
Last updated 26 October 2026
This page covers the request form on spoorlight.com. It explains what we collect when you ask for an invitation, why, where it is kept and for how long.
Who is responsible
Opentech OÜ, Tallinn, Estonia, is the controller of this data. You can reach us at hello@spoorlight.com.
What we collect
- The name and email address you enter in the form.
- The time of the request and the browser's user-agent string.
The form checks that a person, not a program, is sending it. This check is done by Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes your IP address and technical information about your browser. We do not store your IP address.
Please don't send victim details or transaction hashes through this form. We ask for them only later, inside the service.
Why we use it
We use your name and email address only to reply to your request and, if you agree, to send you an invitation. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before an agreement (GDPR, Article 6(1)(b)). We do not use the data for marketing and do not sell or share it.
Where it is kept
Requests are stored in a Cloudflare database located in the European Union. A copy of each request is sent to our mailbox, which is hosted by Google, so that we can answer it.
How long we keep it
If no invitation follows, we delete the request 12 months after it arrives. You can ask us to delete it earlier at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict its use, to object to its use, or to receive it in a portable form. Write to hello@spoorlight.com. You can also complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, www.aki.ee).
